Obama, the largest campaign spender of any person ever in history, is complaining about campaign spending. LOL

Can't help but notice the Republicans knew they were going to loose so bad, they didn't put their money where their Palin mouth was.

Since the U S National Chamber of Commerce has foreign ties and donations look at thier ads and see how fair they comment what side did they take and since they believe in lobby work how can you trust them to be non biased in thier support or rejection of people and where did the cash come from.. any ad with no known source of support is suject to lies and twists that are not good enough to put thier name on it should they lose in thier bid to take control of the government. I trust an unknown sourced "truth" almost as well as id trust leaving 2000 small bills in cash on a park bench and expect it to be there when i got back. This is how much you trust people like Crossroads usa nameless potshots in drive by shooting. If its not got a campeign endorsement then its twisted lies till proven different.. the English rule on that rather than the American rule of Innocent till Proven guilty.

The chamber took in $400k in international $$ out of a $150 million dollar budget. The better question is, why no outcry over Soros hundreds of millions in donations, including funding MoveOn.org, or Obama taking anonymous credit card donations of hundreds of millions after turning off the automatic verification process. Hundreds of millions of odd amounts suggesting round amounts changed via currency exchange. Worse, the president is accusing the chamber of legal and ethics violations with no factual basis whatsoever, and then telling them to prove they are innocent of his charges. Before Obama, the government had the burden of proof, and slandering private companies was a no no without proof. The dems just want to shut down the opposition. Not gonna happen.

Soros doesn't contribute anonymously. And he's not trying to buy influence for himself either.

Hmmm.... I wonder how much the DNC and its affiliates paid CBS to spread disinformation during the election campaign. I think I'll buy some CBS stock.

Good Point CBS is the paid protector of OBAMA!

Barack Obama has selective amnesia - he is forgetting that George Soros, multi-billionaire and the money source for all Liberal causes - gets all his money from FOREIGN COMPANIES. Obama attempts to paint his political opponents with his own party's guilt - and it is not going to work. America is going to give Obama and his corrupt mafia political machine a smackdown that will never be forgotten. WE WILL REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER.

Some say Soros is American since he did get Naturalized Citizenship in 19561 I think but he is also a Greek Citizen and he claims to be Greek and caries a Greek passport. Maybe he has an American passport too. the point is his company is foreign it is in Grease. So what ever he is personally is irrelevant he put foreign money into the Demos. And he is not alone.

Obama collected over $400 million in anonymous credit card donations during his campaign, and never tried to return the foreign money. The chamber collected $400k in foreign money out of $150 million. George Soros spent more than $150 mill personally, and he's not a citizen. Did the dem party give it all back?

Democrats keep hitting GOP on secret foreign donations - Obama, Pelosi & Reid have the gall to conjure up a non nonsensical story like this while Senior citizens brace for 2nd year with no Social Security increase. With all this happening to the Old Foolks on THEIR WATCH. BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Seniors prepared to cut back on everything from food to charitable donations as word spread Monday that they will have to wait until at least 2012 to see their Social Security checks increase. "I think it's disgusting," said Paul McNeil, 69, a retired state worker from Warwick, R.I., who said his food and utility costs have gone up, but his income has not. He lamented decisions by lawmakers that he said do not favor seniors. Obama, Pelosi & Reid were saying all along that their policies and proposed cuts in social security would cut the national debt by at least a half trillion dollars a year with more tricks on the way for Seniors. These bass turds are enough to make you puke.

I didn't notice CBS reporting the story on the no cost of living raise for those on Social Security. I'm sure that the politicians will get theirs.
by Darr247 October 11, 2010 11:31 PM EDT
If there's no increase in the CPI, then there's no increase in benefits. It's really that simple. Besides, anyone drawing SS for more than 3 years has already drawn out more than they put in, and they allowed the politicians from the 1960s through the 1990s to spend the excess contributions instead of investing them. Social security deductions should be halted from everyones' paychecks, and the program should be wound down like any other ponzi scheme... once you get back what you put in, you're cut off. Let them keep medicare - wind that down slower, when ObamaCare goes into effect - as long as they don't use it... if they get hospitalized, as soon as they get home cancel their medicare just like insurance companies do with persons who actually have to use their medical insurance.

Shame on you Mr. Schieffer! You lived through Joe McCarthy and to sit there and let David Axelrod tell you to show him the proof that his "allegations" are erroneous was insane! Obama and his minions are given free reign to do and say as they please because no one at the "major networks" has the nerve to be a true journalist any more. At least the NYTimes said something.

by retm-w October 11, 2010 8:27 PM EDT Hey bagger name one major corporation in the U.S. that's not multi national or that doesn't have foreign investers. Even obama talks about a global economy. ======================================================================================================== A global economy minus labor or product safety laws, unregulated energy futures market..etc, is global slavery.

It's still a global economy, and until Americans quit buying foreign products because they are a few cents cheaper. Americans don't care if their neighbor losses his job, as long as they can get a product a few cents cheaper.

Curse, the government makes more off every barrel of oil than Exxon or any other producer. Their margins are far smaller, and they actually have to risk their money finding and drilling for the oil.

It's a secret operation like Watergate. When Dick Cheney shot his hunting companion there was secrecy for 24 hours while he sobered up.

by jschmidt27 October 11, 2010 7:51 PM EDT------"Yes finance reform is needed but the point is the Democrats are just as bad as the Republicans when it comes to out spending the other guy" ############################################################################ Actually, while we have needed true campaign finance reform for years, the rightwing robert's SCOTUS 'Citizen's United' ruling has made a total joke out of any logical reform. ######################################Tally: Outside GOP groups outspending Dems 7-1 A Democratic operative active in Senate races sends over this summary, from public sources, of outside television and radio spending on the races from August through last night: Republican Third Party Groups ? $43,664,661 Democratic Third Party Groups ? $6,658,236 Colorado ? Dems: $1.1 million / GOP: $7.6 million Washington ? Dems: $1.5 million / GOP: $4.2 million Missouri ? Dems: $794k / GOP: $7.2 million Kentucky ? Dems: $47k / GOP: $1.7 million That's a more than seven-to-one advantage, if you're keeping score.

Multi-national BIG pockets are making a joke out of finance reform, since corporations like Exxon make upwards of $40 Billion per year in profit!

Hey they pay lawyers big $$$$$$$ to figure out how to beat the laws. Looks like their lawyers are smarter then the ones that write the laws.
by hdc77494 October 11, 2010 10:40 PM EDT
Actually you are factually incorrect. Outside fundraising and spending by democrats has been about twenty per cent higher than Republicans, and BP was one of Obama's top fundraisers.
